Just had a great supper with all the family and had a couple of glorious pints on the way back with the wife. The fires alight, what's not to like?
nothing much. Finished bleeding rear brake. Now have perfect feel front and back (snigger). holy shit. Imagine how dull life is gonna get for all the poor souls who have to isolate and don’t have a bike!? Also, went to see MiL. Put up some pics of her recently deceased (to her) husband. She started to cry as the memories came back. Quite sobering. Think she would be quite happy to join him after being married so long. Sad.
Had some work booked on my car today, turns out a so called 'specialist' has made a right mess of some work carried out for the previous owner and my engine is lucky to not have exploded on me. So going to be without it for a couple of weeks and a £2k bill. One of the many fuck ups is reusing the head bolts after doing the head gasket so it's very lucky to not have popped considering I did a few trackdays and a nurburgring trip last year!
that is sad.... takes a long time to come to terms with the loss of a loved one.... an unfortunate situation i have been in too many times... i hope she finds happiness
Only ones that was getting an MOT today was bikes. It's getting out of hand, I didn't have reflectors
Wifes away for the weekend so been a busy bee - can get stuff done (all manner of stuff - sometimes not bike related...) without getting nagged... 1. Breakfast. 2. Repaired an Ipad for a relative. 3. Hoovered the house....kids, long haired cats and rabbits mean im hoovering...always... 4. Bloke turned up to buy our treadmill...fuck me that was heavy getting it down the stairs. 5. Replaced the old rugs in the garage (soaked in oil, shit and whatever)...with some new "old" rugs. Looks way better now... 6. Re-assembled the clutch sprag on the hyper, found out i needed a flywheel holding tool to torque it back down so ordered that. 7. Partially stripped the zed down to give it a clean, its my every-dayer so needs frequent cleaning in the winter... 8. Made kids tea. 9. Watched a film with the kids. Now watching Apollo 11 (as in the documentary) which looks fucking amazing (video quality) like it was shot a few months ago.... Tomorrow, continue doing house wiring to replace all the old 12v and regular bulbs with led and smart lighting...
