That wheel first appeared on the 1199 Superlegerra and then it was resurrected as an option on the V4 Speciale. They are stupidly light weight and were the first thing I swapped out for a pair of 1299 Marchesini forged aluminium. You’d only have to hit one pot hole in a UK road to wreck the mags. Were they worth it ? I thought that they were a little bit special with a small number of UK buyers taking up the option on the Speciale but as the standard wheel on the Anniversario, snob that I am, the rarity has been diluted.
