Haha and there I was a few weeks ago, feeling pleased with myself having subscribed to the Eurosport player thingy for the supers and possibly have little use!! Fortunately it was so cheap...
Tried to buy a few things at our local Tescos Expeess. What is and what is not on the shelves makes no sense at all. Caught up with a couple of the staff that I know and they tell me people are driving miles looking for toilet roll and dried foodstuff. Still, I got a few nibblies, a couple of beers and a Tesco's finest paella for tea. A treat for tomorrow will be proper butcher's faggots, mashed potatoe and gravy, yum, yum and I would guess, mostly pig's bum Andy
I fully appreciate there are many that can't work from home but those that can ought to be able to in order to reduce the commuting and make it easier for people to practice social distancing.
unfortunately also, those that can work from home and are having/going to have building works done, probably dont want us grubby types around so the trades man cops it again.
Today I have been trying to sort out my bike insurance, on the off chance I can get to ride them this summer. And this afternoon I have also been in discussion about consulting on a major leisure project for the UK.
I managed to find a replacement water pump and swapped them over so we now have pressurised water to the house and SWMBO (and I) can have a shower. She will be pleased.
I've just picked up a job on the other side of the road so I'm good until the summer, it's the bigger sites that will be hit hardest.
