Busy day yesterday (aside from work) 1. Collected generator cover (newly coated) 2. Went over to Rich's at Louigi for a lesson on Sprag clutches. 3. First time really this year to have a good blast on the RSV4 home from louigi (my suspension learning steed at the moment) Good excuse to put up a pic....heres Rich's new track whip...definately a showcase for Louigi's engineering prowess....
I've got the next few weeks off so the decision to paint the lounge has been made, can't wriggle out now
I realised my parents favoured my twin brother today, when they asked me to blow up balloons for his surprise birthday party.
Got some, it was all done about five years ago so it's pretty good, the wife will moan about the smell of the paint, guaranteed
Today I will mainly be cooking mole, had a box of mexican chile peppers delivered, a new one to me, let's hope it tastes like it looks. Then a blast on the bikes, Oxford sounds good, there's some great roads on the way.
Today is the tenth anniversary of losing my Grandad. I remember waving him goodbye as he walked into that maze.
Took the van for an MOT a month early... but no it was a month a day.... so the month in credit doesn't count.... Expiry date 20.03.21 Then shopping with SWMBO... queued for 35 minutes then had the embarrassment of having each 4th item taken off us.... I normally buy loads of anything I want.... but my wife said 4 items maximum; but no, at the Til the new rule was 3 items... They did note that we didn't buy any toilet or kitchen roll (we've loads here), which made my wife go red I did manage to get a gross of Red wine to top up stocks,
I meant to take some of those disposable gloves I have in the van for filling up from the diesel pumps, saves getting diesel all over your mitts, but I forgot. Fortunately the thoughtful fuel station owner had placed disposable disinfectant wipes at all the pumps so I took a wipe, used it to hold the pump and chucked it in the bin afterwards. Touch to pay with the card and a quick squirt of hand sanitiser from my own supply just in case. Can't be too careful in the current environment.
Went for a ride for a couple of hours. Roads were quiet so I had a bit of fun on the V2. But it was a tad cold out. We’ve just been shopping to the local co-op for essentials.......bread, milk, and toilet roll (just 4) but no paracetamol to be seen. Oh and I got a can of mr Sheene to clean the bike with
Took the 1198s for an mot, passed no problem. When I told the tester I was a bit worried about the noise of the akrapovic cans, he laughed and said most of the fuckers don't see you so make sure they can hear you
