Thanks, I’ve probably overthought the problem so walked away from it until tomorrow but I think it could be the safety edge so going to attempt to delete it tomorrow and see what happens.
I feel the same, getting off a Multistrada then onto the 999 feels a bit odd at first but there is something so seductive about that riding position, one minute I'm selling it then I'm not
Haven’t driven through there since I gave up climbing, looks a lot nicer without all the tourists. Not sure the businesses feel the same.....
Decided to clean, lube and tighten the chain on the Multistrada. Cleaned it, tried tightening the chain but gave up after bending the tool. Ffs!! Put everything back on the bike and realised I hadn't lubed the chain. Ffs!!!
My mate recently had the same problem and it was just the guides and wheels needed cleaning and lubing. Worth a try.
Not a bad day in the end. Got up at 6 for some unknown reason but mainly because I’d had enough sleep. Did 120 press ups (4 x 30). Sorted some nonsense with bro 4 and caught up with the Virus via the Andrew Marr show. Cooked the Mrs a full English breakfast/brunch and treated myself to the same. Organised Bro 6 to pick up a motorcycle turntable I’d bought off eBay then cleaned the Multistrada. Satisfying. FaceTimed my mum for Mother’s Day. Much more successful than phone calls, had great chat with her, 93 and she’s still on the ball. Then caught up with family and friends via FaceTime. Then for the first time ever had internet dinner with our son in Amsterdam and daughter in north London and their other halves. Worked out really well, just like a normal dinner only they didn’t drink all my wine. They didn’t believe me about the press ups so I did another 30 in front of the camera. Slow due to wine. Bed.
