Hi All, I'm new to all this technowizardry forum stuff! Riding for 16 years and been patching my fellow riders in Casualty for the past 14. Have a very lovely Ducati 999 Testastretta Neil Hodgson (Xerox) 2004... To change or not to change - That is the question!!? Say Hi!
Hello and welcome. Don't change just add another for high days and holidays. Are you on the member map yet?
Look at the 999 as the start to your collection. Just remember you are limited to the size of your garage, lounge, dining room and anywhere else you can find to put them!
Yep Agree with gild, keep it and get a second but different bike. I did (996 and hyper sp) and its sooooooo much fun!
Hi All, Thank you for the great welcome messages! I'm looking to get rid of the 999 only because i'm 6' 4' (and a half). I find the beast is a tad too small really... Ive decided this having had this since first reg in 2004! Any suggestions on what next and where I should look to sell it? Thanks lovely people!
Try a Diavel then. It's not cramped, it's a hoot to ride. You will be amazed. The thing trundles or scoots depending on your mood, but it's a real Ducati with real Ducati handling. Before you buy another bike, make sure you get a test ride on one. I did actually review it (well, only for my own amusement) here: Ducati Diavel
