What makes a forum member ' Senior ' ?

  1. Just been idly wondering, after a few days of dipping a toe in this forum water : 1. What makes a forum member ' Senior ' ?...is it kinda ' pay per click ?...activity usage, or some other credentials mechanism ? & 2. When members use the descriptor ' Avatar ' is that a forum conferred monika or self appointed grand title ??? Been fascinated by my idle surfings/fishings here and encouraged by the emerging member affinities...:smile:..beginning to find out WWATZ...:cool:

  2. Mine changed to senior by itself, I did nothing so I presume its to do with the number of posts you make. Reach a certain amount and you change from junior to senior.
    Regards to the avatar, you can upload your own, i believe its in the FAQ section.

  3. "Senior" is the agreed term on the forum for "insane" (or sometimes "morally bankrupt").

    It happens after you have posted a sufficient number of incoherent ravings (or any other type of post).

    "Avatar" refers to the members who are 11 feet tall and blue-skinned. It is also a small picture/jpg that you assign to yourself in Settings (top right corner of each page). For instance, my Avatar shows me at Cadwell Park just prior to me breaking the track record for someone using a zimmer-frame.

  6. Here's a post to get me some points. I don't want to be a 'junior' any more, people might think I've got spots and bum fluff and stuff like that. I think I'd rather be incontinent!
