Aup guys just done 600 miles on the bike should a service message pop up on the dash for the run in service or not?
I can’t remember but I was advised to do about 640 miles which is normal to reset the service reminder so probably. The bike has a thinner SAE oil for the first 600 mile period so I wouldn’t push the mileage too much before an oil change. IIRC, the rev limiter is set lower for the first 600 miles but I don’t know if it’s an intelligent limit or if it has to be reset. Andy
As El Toro stated, Its actually 1000km (622 miles ish ) but be aware that a red ( oil ) warning light will come up on the dash. This is not the usual oil light so don't top up, its a confusing service light.
