  4. Trying to figure out how to get money back from EasyJet after our Almeria trip in May was postponed until next year. I have the same problem getting money back from Europcar. Got an email this morning from my holiday insurer was their hands of my annual policy, citing Corona Virus as a force majeue. No idea if the credit card provider has shared liability or not. I know I’m in the same boat as a lot of other people but it’s not a good day so far. Andy

  5. Check your contracts with all entities and check consumer laws. You have a right to a refund if you don’t want to accept the revised flights/credit note. Clearly all airlines are trying to preserve monetary reserves and don’t want to be paying out refunds. They’re all doing it. With regards your insurer, again check the detail of the contract as to what is force majeur, many are simply rejecting claims, for theSame reasons as the airlines, in the hope most claimants just give up. It’s an issue here in Irelsnd to the degree the government are on their case telling them they have to pay out, I’d be surprised if that were any different in the uk.

  6. Last time I had wood cut at B&Q the assistant said there was no reasonable limit to how many cuts you get, just don’t take the proverbial with it as far as the shop floor are concerned.
