I have just volunteered to deliver remedies and prescriptions for my wifes clinic. Lots of guilt free doing my bit safe from prosecution helping out brownie points legitimate riding. Just off on my first run now.
I've just ordered a hand held sander from Amazon. There's no way I'm hand sanding another one of these bloody garden chairs again. And I've just done a bit of preparation for me doing a second Italian lesson with my two grandsons up in Scotland this afternoon.
Only 80 miles round trip, absolutely nothing on the roads, saw two police cars having coffee in a service station. Certainly feels different when you have a reason to go out, loved it.
Had another three goes at undoing the rear wheel nut with no success so knocked at next door to see if they might be out at any time soon so I can make a lot noise for possibly quite a long time with the rattle gun. "don't worry about noise that's fine" she said so tomorrow going to attack it with two fully charged batteries and hope it finally works. If not the hammer and chisel, dremel, angle grinder who knows.
620 ft/lb breakaway, should be enough really. Main problem I think is that the bike has been laid up and the rear wheel probably hasn't been off for about 8/9 years.
Had 5 or 6 goes so far of 20 - 30 seconds a time. Trouble is its indoors in the living room and the noise level is like pneumatic drill, hot to have a bit of regard for the neighbours but they have said go for it - nice people
