So what have you done today..?

  1. Got rid of the last few jars of a Mexican sauce I make for the guys in the pub. A lot of barbeques going on.
Cooked some rice ready for a chicken biryani with a veg curry, chicken from yesterdays barbeque.
Took the 999 the long way to the shops for......essential food shopping, I thought I should point that out to the law abiding citizens that cannot take the risk of overburdening the NHS, I went there and back without any incidents, no one was hurt or inconvenienced on my shopping trip, but I really enjoyed it.
Took the longer way home, warm enough for a light jacket and gloves, lovely.
Just waiting for the wife to stop working.

  2. Replaced the leaking rocker gasket and breather on the Land Rover... which then leaked worse than before. I'm done with the bloody thing, it's on eBay now for much cheaps... life's too short.

  6. I think he has a series 2,so 1960's,?

  7. 1959 Series 2... it's great and actually just needs persisting with, but I'm less interested in four wheeled things these days. I've scratched the itch and am ready for it to go...

Yes no doubt... i did see a few others on my journey...i have just seen a post from another member slagging me off for going out...you cant catch or spread this virus riding your bike so long as you dont stop & mix with others, there was no chance of that when i stopped at Matlock there was only me there :skull:...you have much more chance of spreading / catching it when shopping in the Supermarket.

  16. Ahhhh, "get a life"... the mantra of those without a proper riposte, or the intellect to concoct something witty or original.

So, were the instructions "go out for a nice ride whenever you fancy it"? No they were not... they were pretty straightforward though:

Read point 1, if you're still finding it a bit tricky to wrap your head around then perhaps get an adult to read it aloud to you?

I can't understand what's weak about staying at home to contain a virus, perhaps you'll enlighten me?
