Jerez motogp SPOILER

  1. Roll on Le Mans!
JL was very quite because he dug himself a big hole over his comments about super sic and the way he raced.

  2. I really would have thought jerez was a yamaha circuit too but it wasnt so much.

I think this is gonna be a honda season - that bike is on fire

  3. It was a split second move at probably 80mph. How can you want to "make it look dramatic" at that speed? Even JL isn't that good.

Is correct. He made himself look a twat then. I think this year he has matured immensely. I actually quite like him now.

  4. Tbf Jorge showed some class in is reaction altho I'm sure his team will be soeaking to the Bosses.

as an ex rac of the lowest level...Jorge had a wide entry line, last corner last lap, he left Marquez the smallest amount of space and you react to the minutest fractions of time and decisions ar instant; you cant race properly otherwise. Don't think he T boned him, they were side by side, if Marrquez ran head ino him then he would need some punishment but in my limited view is was an incredibly hard block pass.

  5. Just watched it ... Nothing wrong with the MM move. It was a hard racing pass, but then as somebody great once said "it ain't ballet dancing"

  6. Pity. I wish racers could say what they think and feel, get angry, be critical, like they used to; now its all PR corporate smoothness. Where's the fun in that?

  7. Maybe no fun, Pete, but reality.

Racing costs big money. Someone has to pay for it - the brand sponsor. They rarely do this out of charity, so they want a return on their investment. They don't need their racing brand ambassador making their brand look poor.

If you want to say whatever you think, you need independent financial means. Run your own racing team with your name on it and then gob off as much as you like and upset whoever.

  8. now when casey did that he was classed as a ciserable munt by all and sundry

  9. Lorenzo left the door open. At the corner at the end of the back straight, he anticipated Marquez would steam up the inside, and turned in later to allow for this as the Honda sailed up the inside with no prospect of making the apex. It's an uncharacteristic mistake of Lorenzo's to not then make the same allowance at the final turn. If he had, Marquez wouldn't have got stopped or turned, and Jorge would have come second.

  10. The racing in the other classes was just the same, with some real win it or bin it moves. Great win for DP and he really needed that for the season. MM was all over the back of JL in the middle part of the race and the final move was really harsh, but that racing. You have to expect a last corner lunge, but he was a long, long way back. I was very impressed with JL comments at the end, as previous posters said, he refused to get dragged in. Was this because of the Marco stuff? Maybe. JL certainly isnt going to take this lying down, he plans on showing MM why he's a double champion. Expect MM in the gravel at Le Mans

  11. I see very little difference between what Marquez did and simply running Lorenzo wide. To my eyes it was Lorenzo who turned in on Marquez.

Immediately after the race, and before the finger wagging, Lorenzo had a very focused chat with someone in the Yamaha team.

    A classic racing incident.

  12. I reckon there will be a bit of "accidental" nerfing off before the season is over. And I'm not sure it will be Marc who does the nerfing.
