  1. Just as good as a factory back up as Norton would offer.

  2. Would anyone dare ride one? Where would you get spares from?

  3. The Visordown article says with a full spares back up. Andy

  4. The Bike Specialist at Sheffield sold 2 last year at over 30k each.

  5. So they are worth about 8 grand then:)

  6. An ex colleagues brother worked for Foggys race team after he’d worked for Kenny Roberts team. He had fun times I’m lead to believe.

  7. Be surprised if it covers anywhere near what might be needed just looking at the recalls new bikes often get list is endless look at the v4 recalls alone. These bikes will just be ornaments for the wealthy

  8. The bike was competitive in its first season in WSBK then they changed the capacity rules for a 3 cylinder going forward which killed it off. If I could afford one, I would have to track it, no question. Andy

  9. Exactly only the wealthy can buy especially to use, I remember the yamaha r7? Was a good track bike but not road bike as standard

Would it be better than an r1m on track? Or zx10? Fireblade? Bmw? Got my doubts it would be anywhere near as good and they would have a full warranty and parts aplenty. Think it’s a nostalgia thing more than anything but personally I’d be on an rc45 wish I’d bought the medd racing one in keighley for 9k a lot of years ago brand new :joy:

  10. there was an assumption that it handled amazingly, but reading Chris Walkers book he said that it chattered it’s eye balls out and was really fussy to set up. I’m sure had the rules not have changed they would have been a bit better but wsbk would have collapsed because it was already a Ducati championship at that point. Rather than go 1l they should have limited entries on manufacturer so you could only have 6 Ducati’s out there for example, might have forced more to develop and run 750cc bikes that could run lighter. I think it signalled the start of the stupid road bike thing with bikes like the 2002 R1, K1 GSXR that we’re completely bonkers

  11. I bet its shite compared to modern bikes
