Well, first year in so unsurprisingly, I have fucked up big style. I spent my cash on GP superstars, unaware that the Superbike races all count double points. Doh! So my strategy is hopelessly flawed. I don't really follow BSB, but Shakey is the only member of my team who is delivering the goods. Lulled into a false sense of security by the Philip Island pole, I was pleased to sign Carlos, only to find the daft Spaniard on the floor in the first race. Now his shoulder is giving him gyp. I suspect he'll be up for a free transfer... And the Pantygirdle is something of a disappointment in itself, so despite Neukirchner's racing credentials, it's looking as if he'll be an also-ran for the rest of the season. It may be early days, but Valentino's comeback is now looking as if it may be a bit Freddie Spencerish, albeit he may show up to more races. He's going to do a Schumacher, isn't he? Faded into the shadows and will now probably never reappear from them. Oh well, we live in hope. Marquez ought to be in hospital by now, surely. I don't wish it on him, but I had factored it in to my calculations...
There's 2 races per meet in SBK. They seem to get them all awarded. How else would Shakey already have made me 128 points? That's the equivalent to winning over 6 GPs.
I didnt account that everybody would still be behind the Aprilias, but im glad that a BMW finally won a race (only for the league you understand ) I'll try and post the current standings for the league :smile:
