Ducati 748-RS Subframe and Carbon breather complete assembly VERY RARE (Fits: Ducati)

 

Not too bad at the minute with the bidding,as your getting carbon bits as well.

 

The breather can still be purchased new, can’t remember which carbon company it is but they come up now and again. The RS subframe is no use to anybody wanting a mono subframe but using the standard ecu and wiring. The subframe isn’t braced either so a risk of the sort of failure experienced by the 2000 748R which resulted in the redesigned subframe on the 2001/2002 748R. Andy

 

I for one would not have known this. I wonder if the bidders do?

 

Is it a RS subframe, having the seat lock bracket?

Looks right to me. Very possible the road mono subframe was taken from the assembly line and modified for racing. Andy
