Ever since buying the Mutley, I found that the black-painted exhaust valve cover stood out like a sore thumb on a white bike. So out went the black anodize, and in the brushed steel, which matches the engine cover and exhaust pipes.

Looks a little Bottom heavy now. Preferred the before, less obvious look, sorry!

Out yesterday to newlands with another Ducati enthusiast a friend since 1979 he has a 748 a multistrada and the Hypermotard in the picture bit chilly but nice all the same

Went the other way, black gloss end bits plus carbon hydro dipped cover.

 

Looks good too.

Doing black bottom was my second choice. Decided to leave the engine cover and exhaust untouched and only work on the exhaust valve cover instead.
