  1. Yeah. Go on Hugh. Show them a pic of it as it is now!!;)

PS. Can I have your Bostrom then please?

  2. Did you ever come across my mate Doug Black back in the day? - chunky guy yet very fast? Faster than Mick Seward but had no money :)

  3. I'd save the ST4 - only because it's my only motorbike :bucktooth::(

    Otherwise I'd save the imaginary 916 SPS, 900SS MHR & D16RR :D

  4. I would ride my S4R out, slowly through the smouldering ruins, tyres and boots whisping smoke, with my leathers on and my wife clinging to my back in her negligee. The soundtrack would be a big twin harley motor throbbing away and then when I clear the wreckage we wheelie off into the distance to the soundtrack of a TZ350! Why? Because my Multi is the one that is insured!

  5. Splitting hairs here but... if your riding out of your establishment and it’s already as you put it “smouldering ruins” I would say it’s a bit toooo late for your Monster, because surely it’s already toast too..? X

Here you go Noods, 1st pic is 1984 going into Sears cnr at Snetterton on the original old circuit, 2nd pic is 1992 coming out of Mallory hairpin on a practice day, we got the bikes out of retirement for just one race that year. Remember we shared a garage at Snett with James Hayden when he was riding a 250 and being mentored by Ron Haslem who turned up in the garage and spent 30/40 minutes looking at and talking about my mates OW31 TZ750 and also the Norton rotary which he was riding at that time with I think Steve Spray or Trevor Nation as team mate.
    Great days and memories.

IMG_20200415_180806.jpg And this is how it is now, waiting for some restoration and renovation work after nearly 38 years of ownership. I met its original rider at a Mallory practice day not long after I bought it, an Aussie called John Pace who looked at it and confirmed it was his old bike from when he was sponsored by an Irish concern called Derry, I've still got the fairing that was on it when I bought it that has got the green paint which was their team colour underneath the black paint which it's second owner painted it with. I have been told that John Pace set the 350cc lap record on it at Donington but have never been able to verify the fact, it was certainly a quick bike - quicker than I ever was.
