  2. Classic OE every time for me. I have never liked any of the JHP aftermarket stuff, way too tacky for my taste. Andy

  3. if the steel cover had been black without radiused hole ends then choice would have been harder for me.

    I have one on the 1098R and have had them on a few bikes in the past, including @baylissboy 's stunning Streetfighter S :upyeah:

  7. I have one of those brackets - got it cheap as it has a stripped thread from previous owner.
    Just need to get a helicoil kit and mend it ((I have had one in my watch list for at least a year but never got around to it).

    Which cover though Andy??

  12. the silver one provides the best protection with a bit of cooling, the black one looks far better, better cooling but probably more risk to damage in a crash...... dont they do a 749RS cover?

  14. I actually have a spare one - removed from my 916 trackbike after a little “event”...

    Not sure if they offer much crash protection @andyb !
