There's been numerous threads about this subject on other forums. All inconclusive. What do you think? And what proof do you have? :tongue:

I've pulled the occasional wheelie on my GS with Mrs CJ on the back, at the traffic light GP. No proof sadly
Maybe but I'm certain plenty of shaft drives can be wheelied. Many years ago I had a Z1000ST, it wasn't a wheelie-monster by any means but could still get it up...

Accidentally wheelied my XJ900F when I started to get a tank-slapper induced by cats-eyes. Gave it full throttle and up came the front. I was waggling the bars in utter panic at that point. The BMW driver I was over-taking at the time must have been wetting himself. Not my finest moment, but it did avert the tank-slapper
