Don't take this the wrong way but..................... there is fuel in the tank isn't there? Just checking as you say you've had it running and been up and down the road on it and now, with the new cables and new fully charged battery, it just spins over which indicates no fuel, no spark or both (unlikely).
SUCCESS! So I remained slightly concerned that my (new) battery was not right. Had a little bit of an argument with the battery guys, who eventually agreed to swap it for a brand new one.... And, after all that, that was it - a faulty battery Took it for a run there and it is just sweet as. I feel like I wasted everyone's time a bit so apologies - and thank you for all the genuine help. Love this bike.
