Interesting, at ist service they thought they were ok & stated that Ducati had made them less grabby, mine is a 2012 model, what MY is yours Pict?
2012 as well, EVO SP with the monoblocs. Well, insofar as I don't think there actually was a MY2012, but registered new in 2012. Tried enough EBC pads / discs on various bikes to steer clear these days.
The stock pads are sintered. I'm with Pict on the EBC stuff tbh. My favourites are Bendix MF pads. Performance Friction are also very good.
Interesting, S has sintered as std, mine is not an S so dont have monoblocks. maybe different pads too. cheers
Don't think so. Take a look on the back of the old pads if you still have them. There should be a Brembo part number and there's usually a HH designation for sintered.
See image, origional pads in mine are marked 450FF not HH. interesting to see piston marks on pads are bias to one side!
There is plenty of power in the brakes but the initial bite and feel is very lacking (wooden) compared to a lot of the aftermarket "race" pads that I've used in the past. My personal favourites are CLXBK5+ pads - formerly "Carbone Lorraine" SBK5+. I bought some from SPR Racing - less than £60 for a front set delivered is an absolute steal!
