Seen as tho we can't use the proper bikes i went out and got me and the garden tool some push bikes Anyone else have electric bikes ? Why have i never bought one before they amazing bit of kit
i'v been mulling it over for a while. dare I ask, what are these bikes going for? reliable? my workshop tools need new batteries every other year, same for these? expensive?
I use this to get around London. 27km/h flat out, 50 km range. Costs about a quid to charge. I save six quid a day on fares, takes half the time to reach a destination and avoids pollution and germs of the tube. No wonder it is illegal.
Not cheap, you'll be at the very least a grand for something with 2 wheels and not much else. Don't know about reliability of the batteries but if you get somethign with Panasonic or other respected make it should be ok
Been informed Bosch motors are best at the mo - more powerful and smaller: Bosch PowerTube 625 - Cube used these motors and are pretty reliable by all accounts. Yes bosch motors and Panasonic batterys are doing the business in the leccy bikes at the min very good bit of kit battery seems to last around 50miles depending if ya riding uphill alot then this will be lower

I do a fair bit of cycling and would love a E-MTB but cannot afford or justify a decent used bike price for a bicycle .
