Tried to find gas for the bbq ... fail Restocked on wine via Laithwaite deliver ... win Started the next CR project , stripping the engine and was amazed how easily it all came apart. Saw it was on original bore after stripping the top end , remarked on the v clean condition of the ignition system , and thought that’s unusual. Popped the clutch cover off and started to realise that this was the first time this engine had been apart .. how cool is that ?

Ordered new taper roller bearings for the 748R headstock and top and bottom yokes off t’internet. On the second load of washing and have polished our Daytona boots to within an inch of their hides. Going to drag the lawn mower out of the shed and try and fire it up having not seen the light of day for at least 3 years. Bored, bored BORED ! Andy
