Anyone actually had a refund yet? This article pretty much illustrates whats going on. Disappointing, but not surprising... https://murciatoday.com/ryanair-pas...AoD7lbrBsrLUAHptkA0OnmimdVYWK0n6XZwrNjVtHR8Ug
I’m eyeing Valencia in October. Unless we’ve all been evaporated with nuclear weapons. That’ll be annoying
Wife will have the same battle with Ryanair. ~Double trouble for her is 6 booked through one person who paid. So she bank transferred the money, and the person who booked it is being, erm, evasive about how they paid. Same for the air BnB they booked too for a week,.
They're being very f'ing sly about the whole thing! You get an e-mail asking to confirm is your'd like a refund, which they say will take a minimum of 28 days, then if you're very lucky you'll get an e-mail with a voucher. Apparently there are then more hoops to jump through to refuse the voucher and claim actual money back, which may or may not work, because you can't claim for a refund twice on the same booking. Add to that phones not being answered and unmanned 'chat' facilities... Utter bunch a bastards.
Read in the news that travel to tenerife will be restricted until nearer the end of the year. I know that's not mainland Spain, but wonder what other restrictions will be in?
Can't see anyone being able to travel into other countries without some medical certification to say you have been tested for some time to come. I bet travel/medical insurance will be impossible to find too.
