  2. Agreement, but also have consideration for people who need to get a paycheck. I'm a starving artist, wood and metal sculptor, hence marrying up, my SO is an attorney, so I'm fortunate i don't need to slog 9-5. But its already fecked up six ways to Sunday and has changed the world and human interactions forever. I for one probs won't be handshaking for a year or two for starters.

  3. I find flippin 'em the bird works for me...

  4. The traditional biker scum greeting.
How are youse dealing with it there with BJ leading the charge?

  5. I think most accept it grudgingly and get on with it. It wouldn't make any difference which party was in charge, they're all twats..

  6. Liking your deep rims on your Merckx neo retro build bud, get it photographed and on the bicycle picture thread when you can, no pressure like. Spynergy’s on the other pusho too nice.

  9. Will do, I have a Sannino track that even nicer and rarer so will find my way around here in the coming days.
The Merckx was buas a grocery getter, everyday rider, the Sannino is a Princess.

  12. Thanks Galway, no, don't miss the weather but socal is too hot for me, prefer a cooler more moderate climate.
I do miss Irish and Euro road racing tho, was a Group B navigator for 2 seasons before it was banned, then went to road bike, Skerries, NW200, nothing remotely like that here. I've been here 30+ yrs now so time to move back to a more Euro lifestyle.
    Where in Socal are you?

  13. Hanging out down in San Clemente. Never gets too hot down here except for 3-4 days a year where you mignt turn on the AC (not that we have any)
Lived in LA for six years, dont miss it much to be honest.
If you ever get down this way give me a shout.

  14. I do, I have riding friends in San Marcos and the Carlsbad area, love to ride up Palomar toward the observatory and go to Mother's Kitchen.
Obvs things are different now but will probs head down in a few weeks to test out the 851 with the S4R 996 i stuffed into it.
They run a group down there called Moto Euro Breakfast Club, used to meet for breakfast every Saturday morning in a diff location each time.
Groups are not my thing, I just visit my friends.

  15. Awesome intro, you have been doing your home work.
why can't all newbies 1st post be like this pictures of your bikes with some great bins

  16. Thanks Clarkey.
Full disclosure i wasn't aware of the bin requirement, even after reading the rules before i posted, so was made aware of the requirement by a few members and a power that be.
But cheers for the nice welcome Sir. Much appreciated indeed.

  17. A few of us ride up Ortega HWY on Sunday mornings and stop up at the lookout. Things should be opening slowly again around here fairly soon. You are always welcome to tag along if you are around.

  18. Ha!! Did that 4 weeks ago with a friend, I was on the F1. We're thinking of going to the lookout Sunday, but I hate the heat so I may cancel and try to get the Dellortos on the Hailwood balanced, I rebuilt the carbs and I'm having a c**t of a time syncing them.
I live in Calabasas so its my backyard.
