i’m into the Aircooled VWs and just doing the car up the way I want it. The great thing about old VW’s is they are not complicated to work on, no fancy electronics and there’s a great scene for meetings. I’m narrowing the front beam and dropping the front wheels a couple of inches, it’s just aesthetics but looks cool in my eyes lol. this is the stance I am aiming for.
Not today, but the other day I had to do some essential work and drove past Southern Cemetery in Manchester. This photo brings home the amount of burials going on. Poor picture but the series of triangles at barrier height are newly dug plots. I travel past here very regularly and I’ve never seen this amount before. Sobering.
weve been chatting a bit....given him just some rough pointers (and im no expert) on stuff to look out for, stuff that ive done etc etc....that bolt i had to say as i did exactly that on my last hyper and lost the bolt in the swing arm - i had to tell him as its an easy mistake to make.... He got some cool indicators coming that retro fit into the handguards (got them on mine) plus if he manages to get some air pods in there you can fit a fuck off loud denali under the tank (and its even louder as it resonates in the space where the airbox was...

I really dont think im worthy enough plus....i dont know what it is about people these days....everyone wants to be...noticed...do selfies etc etc...ive got no problem with being on video or pictures taken but i dont like/want myself plastered all over the net...be nice to meet the guy, seems like a good bloke but the whole you tube thing...mmm...not so sure...not really me...ironically ive got a you tube channel which i put stuff on re my z1000 but i dont get in front of the camera and its really factual...and only when people ask me to put something up to explain....ie ive got an experiment with a modified airbox for mine (z1000) so when its complete ill stick something up... Funnily enough a couple of years back we went to loomies and he was just leaving with the lad that does the 6th gear motorcycles you tube channel.....he lives about 30 mins away from me...
