  6. Today we've done bugger all really. We were going to clean the house but seeing as the weather's so nice we are leaving it to Sunday when it's meant to change for the worse. So we've just lazed outside sunbathing and reading and scoffing.

    Other than that I've had a walk to the post box to deliver a couple of letters to the grandchildren and that's about it :)

    I should have been going to Scotland to do the NC500 today :(

  8. As we have some paint left and all the gear is in the house, my wife thought it a good idea to carry on with the decorating project
    So that’s another bedroom and the bathroom to do!
    I’m slowly losing the will to live

    No eggs , but I had a fantastic 10 mins and haven’t stopped smiling since .
    If there’s anything more fun than an old 2stroke crosser , I’ve forgotten. The sound , the lightness , the wheel popping up in all gears when not even caning it .. brilliant stuff .
    Damn the lockdown , otherwise I’d have been out all morning

    Got back and continued on the next CR .. fork restoration. Once out of the bath , I spent hours sanding them .. clearcoat tomorrow.

  14. Received my eBay order of strong white bread flour - as a pharmacist this is probably as close as I will get to being involved in a drug deal (included a free sample of some stronger stuff to get me hooked) :cool:
    It came from the Wirral which I am told is the posh bit of Liverpool

    Yet I can get a barrel of oil and they'll pay me three quid to take it away today
