Steve, an old Ducati mate, popped over to my place today in his new toy. It flipping lovely and I really want one! View attachment 15050
What a disaster! Obviously a wheel or two missing at the back, a radiator grill behind an air cooled engine which isn't even in the car seems all wrong, and why it needs a scafold pole on the side is beyond me. Actually, this is all just jealousy. I love it. One of the few non bike transports i'd actually enjoy using i think. Want one too.
When you're 80 Andy you won't be able to get into it! It's a case of threading your legs in while leaning on the side and seat. It's feckin lovely! We didn't have enough time to go for a blast but he's promised me a drive in return for lending him my race bike on a track day many years ago!
Back in the 80s I passengered a Morgan Matchless V-twin three-wheeler in a few sprints and hillclimbs. Great fun, but very cramped seating. The engine was supercharged, and the open pipes were so loud they easily drowned out an entire paddock full of hillclimb bikes warming up.
They are expensive things those 3 wheelers. I do like the left-field approach on most things. They had on in that Morgan place on the A25 on the way to Otford a while back.
That's the one Andy's talking about on the A25 at Borough Green. Brands Hatch Morgan Ltd - Official Morgan Dealership
