I went to the Vyrus factory a couple of years ago, they are the most spectacular things to look at up close and part disassembled. You can look at them for hours and not notice all the details, they are an engineering joy. They even had an ex Capirossi D16 sitting around. Ascanio Rodorigo is one of those maverick geniuses walking his own path and to spend time with him you walk away thinking it’s the rest of the bike world that’s crazy, not him! He was so so kind and super passionate about my 1198, I would have thought it was nothing special to him but he insisted on coming into the van to check it over, wanted to hear it running etc etc. A truly wonderful man. After a lottery win they would be my first phone call without any questions.
By selling to Domimatrixes, if that’s what you call Matrix lovers, I guess. Jeez, why not make a Star Wars version? Except there’s history with the green one.

You have answered your own question, Paul. Ducati made 150 Matrix Edition 998's. There is Ducati history, not just Hollywood history. In any event, why not? Are you becoming conservative in your dotage?
