Started to watch something called Alma’s Not Normal, it got a few known faces in it, but can’t find another one. This was after a couple of glasses of wine though!
We buy in bulk from these guys up the road from us - small producer though https://www.themagnificentseed.co.uk/
Gangs of London. The best, most brutal violence to hit our screens since Spartacus - Blood and Sand. Fantastic fight sequences.
Thought that was shite. Piss poor scripting, lasted 30 minutes and thought it was a lock stock wannabe that failed.
I've never heard of this place. It looks facinating and hopefully I will see it in person someday. Thanks!
Just rewatched the first series of After Life and started series two. I’m not a massive fan of Ricky Gervais but this is brilliant. Very funny and very touching in equal measures.
An Australian offering featuring the pianist Tim Minchin called Upright, as in upright piano. Bit of a road trip type series where Lucky (Tim) has to move a piano across country and in doing so he bumps in to a young girl with a hidden and troublesome past. Unlike a lot of antipodean offerings this ones quite watchable.
Enjoyed this short video however we have been binge watching Homeland as hadn’t seen before / on series 5 now!
I used to think that about him but I’ve completely changed my mind on him now. If you liked After Life, go watch ‘Derek’ & once you realise what he’s trying to do with the character, I think you’ll love it
