  1. My Dad died last year aged 91, so some shared feelings of your loss.
He got ill whilst I was at Philip Island on the 899 with No Limits in January. I rushed backas fast as I could and found him barely alive in a hospital bed.
In a weird moment of inspiration I plugged my SD card into my laptop and played tack footage of me on the PI track.
Bloody hell!! He woke up and was very animated until the nurse came in and strongly suggested this was not helping.
    Then he died.
He enthusiastically sponsored my road bikes and racing. I now have a a terrible habit inherited directly from him.

Here's his final Manx Classic on a 350 single.

  3. Sorry to hear about your Dad.

Mine was never into motorbikes, my sisters boyfriends were tho, first there was Frank on his Z1R, then she married a guy who had a GT185, that was my first time on a bike, I couldn't believe anything could go that fast.

I bought a Suzuki GT50k of a friend of his, which needed a rebore among many other things, and once reassembled I used to ride it round and round the garage compound. I clocked up just over 100 miles doing that, waiting for my 16th birthday.

  4. I think a lot of us had the ability to ride bikes long before the legal age.
Many a happy day bombing around a field or down the woods.

  5. Well I found some photos of Dad today while clearing out - he’s the one far right in the car pics. He died 11 years ago from MND - so much I wish I’d found out. He played basket ball & table tennis and even went to the USSR before I was born - found those photos to :)

anyone know what the bike is / think the car is a Morgan.
