  1. Don't forget to hyperventilate noisily in the gents before getting on the plane.
Try not to sweat too much.

Normally speaking, your bulky overcoat will go unnoticed.

  2. Sounds like you've done this before

  3. No, but it's amazing the tips you can pick up from cinema.

Viz the 'Ndrangheta boss who built a house to look exactly like Al Pacino's in Scarface.

  4. Be careful driving after taking temazapan

  5. Been stuck in Coventry all week. More of the same next week. Better get stuck into the beer this weekend then:upyeah:

  6. Giving bloody blood.

  7. thought the woodchip was sorted

  8. I've just lost 50'000 air miles.

To quote a phrase in vogue (which is about the only thing right now that may have me cackling with laughter) - it boils my piss.
Of course, they don't email you to say they are about to expire in their many pointless communications. You're meant to have so much time in your life that you spend it all collecting points, redeeming vouchers, discount codes, and pepping your loyalty schemes. :frown:

On a positive note, my local supermarket now stocks Fullers ESB in cans. Now that's a result!

  9. It's getting there. Day 1 of 2 days of plasterers done today.

  13. We had our one year old grandaughter stay last night, which was fun. She's now asleep in bed with Grandma

I've got to go north this morning to help move my olds into a beautiful retirement home (Nunthorpe Hall Retirement Home.). And though it is beautiful and the care is exceptional, it's still a home :frown:

And tonight we are going to a construction awards ceremony at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester. It was good last year. The secret "turn" was Beverley Knight. :upyeah:

  14. May as well have been jet skiiing, I got so wet coming back from a coffee at Loomies on the thumper in jeans.

Left in bright sunshine and hardly a cloud in the sky...came back in rain hard enough to make 40mph max speed to see where you were going

  15. Had the MH out on the drive to give it a good polish,as I anticipate selling it in the forseeable future.Didn't finish the job as it peed down.Just got it back in the garage in time.

  16. Chilly here (so what's new?)
Did a translation on the new Nagra MPS multiple power supply (for the hi-fi buffs) - money!
Made an apple tart again (last week's was so good, I fancied another and still had some apples).
Dug and weeded veggie garden. It's knackering, but such is the price of your own produce. Still more to do - it's one of those Rumplestiltskin tasks.

    Haven't I been virtuous?

Threatening weather. If I'd had the bike out I would have been sure to have been rained on.

  17. Oiled two more doors, swapped a few light switches, drilled a few more holes in the TD kit then dropped it off at Rage Designs for painting, came home and rebuilt the bike

  18. He'll have a job to drive, I won't let him have the car keys :)

  19. Milked my cows................bet no one on here has ever said that before!

  20. By machine?
