Well fist discovered my right hand clip on has cracked on the lower Hinge, I Was looking for replacement and came across accossato clip ons, but they list the size as 53.5 Not 53mm. Best measurement I could get on my fork leg was 53.3mm So wondered if anyone had a pair on their bike Thanks
Not sure about the accossato ones. I fitted a pair of Renthal ones a few month back and they’re the closest you’ll get to the RS ones but at a fraction of the price. Good fit.
Taking top yoke off is normally extremely straightforward... Disconnect steering damper Undo pinch bolts on forks and steering nut Pull off yoke Viola!
It probably is but I only wanted to change the belts and so far I’ve replaced the qr connections, front v Piece of the fairing, found a cracked clip on I darn’t touch anything else
If you are ok with Changing belts then none of the jobs on the outside of the motor should be a problem to you. Take it one step at a time Markduc, there's Plenty of good, free advice on here, and there is no better way to get to know your bike and keep an ageing machine in good fettle, than taking bits off, checking and cleaning them.
