Hi, A couple of things. Hope everyone is well in this crazy time. Firstly, I'm removing the current forum advert hosting company. The site was starting to look a bit crap with too many popups and adverts. Quantcast (the ad network) are now gone. I didn't really like how they were slowing the site down. There will still be adverts (not for site subscribers), but will be Google Ads, which in my experience, are not quite as invasive. Second, Speakers Corner changes. It will be hidden to any unregistered / not logged in users and only members who've been registered for at least 1 month and 100 posts will have access to it. New content will also not show up in 'New Posts'. This is predominantly a bike forum and I'd like to keep it that way. But I appreciate it can also be a place that folks would like to discuss newsworthy topics including political content. So, Speakers Corner is still here, but with some small changes. As a reminder, it's possible to Ignore forums completely. If you want to ignore Speakers Corner for example, there's a link at the top. Or click here: Ignore Speakers Forum And finally, times are tough at the moment. We're likely all finding ourselves with a bit more time on our hands than usual. Obviously there will be many times when we don't all get along. Thats life. But can we try to follow the rules, as well as this fundamental rule: Don't be a dick It'll be a much more pleasant place to be for us all. I'll be around a bit for some admin stuff.
