Thanks Rob, I did think twice about a fresh subscription because of the Quantcast thing but reluctantly did it anyway. Glad they are gone. Lesser of two evils with Google but can't really avoid them.

One of those pinned messages was written in 2015 and the other hasn't been updated since March.
Surely it should have the revised sentencing guidelines for bans etc? I know its somewhere on the site as I read it today.
Would it be a good idea to pin the rules there for everyone to read?

If I was @Rob I'd make the default everyone was opted out and you have to opt in...

 

I’ve been a member and subscriber for almost two years. As an occasional poster I am now blocked from speakers corner. As a subscriber, I don’t believe I should be blocked from content retrospectively.

Are we able to update our own profiles like in the olden days without asking a Mod to do it or was that really a software change that prevented it?
