I like the blurb in his sales pitch....."Was sold at £4700 in 2009." Of what relevance is that? So 11 years ago it may have been a decent bike, it's now a crash damaged POS.
Not sure of the years, just sold my earlier type Cable Kit (88-92) for a 1994 Mk3 SL and his battery layout is the same as pre 93 model 900SS. 93-98 900SS had the battery terminals the other way round
I remember back in day with the Honda's,it was just new graphics and maybe one or two other bits for the new season with sales.
How many times are they going to list this bike before they get the message that they are asking too much for it ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-8...349641?hash=item4217df44c9:g:QhcAAOSwvH5dUTnJ Andy

Perhaps some sellers should learn the definition of "Investment", everything seems to be advertised as an investment opportunity these days. Sheffield charge a huge premium but are telling vendors that there is the potential to make profit on what they buy.
Just be smart and read inbetween the lines with these salesman............that's the only rule in your head you'll need to protect your savings.
