  1. F800gs never had a BMW engine last model was a rotax twin a great little donkey new one is an 850 chinese job the 12,s were always german built and all slagging aside there warranty would make a laugh of Ducati or KTM ! My 1200 dropped a decompression valve they wanted to strip my 5 months old bike I said no thanks , they replaced the bike the following January as it was the quickest the could get me the same spec as my bike and gave me a brand new s1000rr to play with while I waited , a mate had a KTM super adventure had terrible TFT clock issues he ended driving a vfr more than his own bike for months while KTM faffed around don't even start me on Ducati warranty :D

  7. Quality of finish, materials used for fasteners, BMW win hands down. S1r. 2 x gs. Zero problems or corrosion.
More than could be said of KTM or the Multi.
KTM the only company that gave zero response to complaints/enquiries about suspension issues

  10. You can sugar coat any manufacturer by individual dealers responses , and as for BMWs not corroding or breaking??
But aside from the build, the GS is, boring, old fashioned and suits men with beards who only use it to piss. :D

  11. So at least it has some uses?

  13. One of the things that puts me off them is, to me, it’s the bike of the sheeple, they might be good, but I wouldn’t have one just because there are so many around.
A friend of mine bought one, saying they must be the best ‘cos “it’s the best selling bike...”, I asked him when he was swapping his flash car for a Fiesta, ‘cos they’re the best selling car, I think he’s ignoring me now, bonus.

  14. Yeah, knew I'd grind you lot down on the end !! Right, who's next to regain their manhood's and buy a proper bike then ?? ;)

  15. The only thing it can’t do that well imo is trackdays. Otherwise, it will be quicker and more capable than most sports bikes and any road short of the TT course ;)

  17. Oh mate, funniest thing you've ever said..... God bless ya!!
I'm just ringing BMW now to tell them to stop making the S Thou, they clearly need a fucking 300kg tractor that's wider than a Goldwing, has pogo sticks for suspension and goes like a late 70's Leopard battle tank..... Funny guy Bladders !! :D

  18. PS, my long dead Nan could hussle that sports bike around quicker..... LMAO...
Just keep convincing yourself Bladders that your not on an old mans bike and eventually you'll believe it..... Again, funny guy... :D

  20. No doubt it’s an old mans bike. Cover distance, at speed, in comfort and still be able to sand at the bar at the end of the journey. Perfect
