The Actual Rules-riding Our Bikes?

  1. All true but I was referring to the horse's own "exhaust system". A sudden misfire and they're off like greased lightning.

(You've seen the vids on Youtube, right?)

  2. used multi today to pick up college files , to keep contuniuty of qualifaction claim process , 25 miles each way , roads too quiet and rding skills are a bit rusty

  3. or follow-through, an image indelibly stamped in my memory after once seeing rose bush-enhancer exiting in time to the left, right, left, right of the hoof-falls.

  5. so if the journey is the exercise is it the the time it takes to get there and back ?...............

  6. If you have a classic Ducati that breaks down every 5 miles, can you consider that as exercise when pushing it home after 3?

  7. He's doing this deliberately bud just to wind you up.

I'm going by motorbike Monday 200 round trip to work, I may well be stopped but motorcycling isn't prohibited worst that can happen is a fine which I'll take on the chin.

  8. Reckon it's highly unlikely you'd be stopped in a van, I've overtaken a fair few Polizei cars nothing happened when in my van. I've seen a fair few cars pulled over though usually chavmobiles.

  9. If your a key worker , you can ride your bike to and from work , you can also use your bike for essential shopping .

  10. I rode to Waitrose, which is 9 miles each way, mostly town stuff but a couple of miles of nice road near the shop, just got some milk etc. I don't feel bad about it, I've literally just sat in the house for 6 weeks apart from a run every other day and essential shopping, and tbh I'm f*cking done with it at the mo... sat here now seeing another day of 600+ deaths, the 3rd highest recorded positive test day meaning a likely spike in deaths in a few weeks, just wonder when it's going to end.... On top of that my old man just got a letter saying to shield until some time in July, so can't even get over there if there is an easing on travel, which just sucks. Honestly I can't believe it's managed to just bring the world to it's knees.

  11. Problem is it’s not that clear though is it? I’m not a key worker & I won’t be doing a 70 mile round trip for essential shopping but I am a home worker, being fully paid by my company (so not draining the UK taxpayer) & in order to continue doing my job, I need to pick up some client files from my normal place of work. So...would that classify as legal (not a moral) justification for using the bike? I think it probably would, but it might be an argument with plod if he sees it differently

  12. If you can't work from home you can travel to work. The method of travel isn't stated.

  13. 2 bikers fined going to Whitby for f&c. A 200 mile round trip from their homes. The tools. Both got sorted by Plod at Whitby.

  14. I took the Multi to the post office today ..needed to send recorded delivery letter .. I bimbled there in T-shirt and shorts and no gloves .
To my surprise , this particular PO sold beer , in a fridge ... it was hot today so I bought some and rode home

    Am I a bad man ?

  17. Ride your bike. I've been doing hundreds of miles weekly as normal for work. The weather is epic.
You've only got today and tomorrow though.
Just don't fall off. Oh and watch the speed. It's very easy to get up to 130 mph on an empty open motorway as you've no traffic to gauge against, and get a fright when you look at the Speedo.
Two things. First, there are more police cars and random radar traps about. Second, if anyone is going up over the cat and fiddle, they were out in force fixing the speed cameras.

  18. If you need the files to work it’s an essential journey - legally and in my mind morally!

  19. Thought you could only drive/ride to work, if you are a key worker and unable to use pubic transport.

  20. Fixing? Repairing or ‘fixing’.
