he have a lot positive feedback, i don't think it's a scammer. I have do a fast check on his feedback/items solded and there are not cars, but i think you can buy the car and go in the location for take it
Tell him you want to collect, then you’ll hand over the funds. However don’t take the cash bank transfer it, my buds done it this way with no issues. However from the listing description he’s not exactly forthcoming with information which I find puzzling for a car of this calibre.
I think they have chosen an Orkney account to scam so people can't easily view any vehicles and will pay so a snot to lose such a presumed bargain If they get offers of deposits to 'hold' it until viewing, they will take several deposits and you will never meet.
Never do a deposit to hold something, but with Bank Trasnfer you need name and surname of a physical person and these are important informations
True but I wouldn’t even entertain giving a dippy, the ad looks bent as hell IMO. I looked at buying 2 Buells from an island up there but the logistics put me off in the end.
Just this line in the ad 'The 3.0 engine underwent an engine rebuild by ourselves in 2014' looks like the ad is lifted from a dealers advert...
I’d love a 911 that shape but never will own one, if I had the money I’d want lots of back story TBH. Short descriptions tend to ring alarm bells for me and that price is outrageous low. As an aside, just tell them you live on Orkney and want to pop round tonight and ask him you’ll pop round after you come off duty. Lol
Also another truck is to report the item to eBay (using their system) as suspected fraudulent listing...eBay will investigate and delete the listing, or if it’s genuine, leave the listing up. It’s a good failsafe to use. Although I’m sure it’s a scam!
will this help make your mind up? They seem in Worcestershire, to use the exact same fencing and farmland as in Orkney https://www.pro-9.co.uk/cars-for-sale It could be they sold it to the chap in Orkney , you could ring them and ask if it is the same car?
