Heres hoping “”Proposals have been sent to the Spanish Government for Jerez to host two Grands Prix in July, including the opening round of the MotoGP™ World Championship””
I read elsewhere that tourism in Spain will not be open to the British until August at the earliest. No news on the what is happening about the tickets bought for rounds that were postponed like Catalunya. This is going to be a royal clusterf*ck for us, mark my words. Andy
Hint of optimism from Dorna https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/938096/1/optimism-replaces-doubt-misano-motogp
Rock and a hard place for both motogp and wsbk series really. They have been struggling more and more each year financially, and losing this season completely will shed even more of the casual fan base. Trying to run closed spectacle racing will run at a massive financial loss due to lack of gate receipts, and difficult travel for the remainder of 2020 would limit the turn out of the attending faithful if attending was an option anyway. Its difficult to say what will serve them best really. As an aside, what has annoyed me a little with things this year is that Dorna have been giving away lots of free viewing snippets to keep folk interested. Fair play I guess, but annoying for those of us who paid upfront for the year's subscriptions for both series, and have actually received little more in return, nor any offer of refund etc.
Keep chasing information on refunds for tickets bought for Catalunya Motogp,at this rate it be easier getting my money from Ryanair
