Yeah...fucking right cunt....still got to give the whole front and a clean...strip the calipers out and clean the muck off the pistons...
It’s needed to make the bike road legal on a “daytime” MOT .. must have an audible warning of approach, or some such. As there’s no electrics , I chose this over a battery driven one for comedy value and aesthetics
It should'nt pass a MOT with a squeeze horn, I had a Green laser and had to fit a battery powered cycle horn MOT station told me not to turn up with a squeezie. You've a more generous tester than I use lol
From the manual ... 'A motor bicycle first used before 1 August 1973 may be fitted with a bulb horn.'' So , 3 out of 4 bikes will be ok with the bulb, I may need a cycle horn for the 74
Yesterday actually, neighbourhood VE Day (socially distanced) “get together” I’d got a bunch of flags left over from a mates birthday weekend, he’s Scottish so we Decorated is bike with a dozen union jacks, he was not impressed! As I couldn’t get any bunting, sold out on amazon, I got hold of a double douvet and 2 pillow cases
Carried on clearing the back jungle (garden) which I started on yesterday but it's getting too hot out there now. just about quarter done in terms of area but not got to the big stuff yet.
Painted my decking a nice grey colour first thing this morning. Then cleaned the car, not even moved since cleaning a week or so ago but had a layer of dust all over. Then touched in a few stone chips, not perfect but hides them away a bit. Then cleaned my MTB, been my commuting tool for the last 6 weeks so needed a bit of lube on the chain too. Then cleaned the V4S as it got covered in something last week parked up at work. Now having a chill in the garden, then a curry in a bit.
