  16. MGS-01 I like them too, but IMHO a little over hyped in the world of Guzzi. Looking at the Ghezzi Brian Guzzis you can see the heritage, design influences and similarity. Cannot remember if it was Ghezzi or Brian who was involved with the styling

    They command stupid money

Probably the most revered Gnu in Guzzi circles outside the factory racers etc: is Pete Roper an Australian mechanic whose been working with Guzzis all his life.

His quote and I paraphrase, "What's the point in it? You ride it around the track a few times, come in and throw most of it away"

Don't get me wrong I'd have one in a heartbeat

  17. Me to until I sat on one. Being vertically challenged at 5' 7" it was one of my mate's dream bikes, now sadly no longer with us and much missed.

Anyway he told me to throw a leg over it, I did and wished I didn't, it was very tall and very heavy, I was terrified. So much so that he had to hold the bars while I got off it.

    Bike in question

  19. Back in the day when they came out, someone converted one to road use and it was featured in Performance Bikes mag if i remember right. It was a shame they never made a road going version. Its a lovely looking thing.
