On the scrounge for some help again. Trying to put together a design for bike stickers to promote my website but I'm not exactly an expert with photoshop/graphics software and REALLY don't have an 'artistic' eye! Three versions so far, the first of which I had trial stickers made up from, I thought it looked ok as an image but didn't like the look as a sticker. The plan is for the stickers to around 80mm x 10mm Any thoughts/ideas on the way to go design wise would be appreciated.... .....decided 'oval' wasn't the way to go: and finally
The proportions of the oval look wrong which is maybe why it doesn't work.... Here's the one of the Ducatisti ones I did..... If you want the photoshop file so all you do is change the text, just shout.... AL
Thanks, I like that and I think you're right re the 'proportions' - however I think a 'slim' sticker is more appropriate to what I have in mind.......I would like to take you up on the offer of a copy of the image file though. Thanks again Matt - thanks, will do
If it really bothers you, I can do you a Ducati one with the Union Jack (albeit it isn't really a 'jack') AL
The wording on the side of a Multistrada is in a font called "BN Elements" - it's available in Truetype. Perhaps you might consider using that.
lol.....I am (although BN Elements is not the exact font used by Ducati but very similar;-) Mock up...
But I have.......a 25mm wide (deep) strip across the top of the inside of my visor......silver grey band from the outside. If it was all over the visor it wouldn't really look like a tinted visor.
Thanks.......another variation mocked up Like this one less than the two above but trying to cater for the stickers on different colour Mutleys (i.e. red, black, while, titanium [grey lol]). So far I like the first mock up above most but I wasn't sure if the sizes of the green/white/red section not being equal was a problem? (dictated by the text;-) .....where are the graphics design gurus when you want one! lol .....I'm easily confused Ian lol..........one thing at a time I did yesterday :-(
I prefer the original mock-up with the tricolore text. Unless you do them clear (which will be much more expensive!) I doubt you'll ever find a perfect background colour as it will always contrast with something.
Why don't you alter the font size to balance up the spacing if you think it's an issue? You can also play with the spacing of the text to get it looking to your satisfaction as well!
