  2. Although doing a battery disconnect will require you resetting things like the clock, it might be enough to clear the potential fault. Andy

  3. I’ll give it a try, bike starts ok and the light did go out briefly and then came back on while it was idling?

  4. How long did you leave it idling?

  5. Til it got upto 85 deg or so, 5-10mins? Tried disconnecting battery but it came back on, seems to go on and off so seems temperamental? My favourite kind of fault

  6. Fuel local to me is now 99.9p per litre, get it plugged in at a dealer.

  7. They’re closed :(

  8. Took it out today and noticed rear indicator not working (bulb loose) thought it can’t be that simple! EML went out but came back on intermittently and notice slight back fire on idle so guessing some sort of ignition/fueling problem? MotoRapido are back open next week so I’ll give them a call but in the meantime any suggestions on where to look?

  9. How old is the fuel in the tank? It could be an idea to siphon most out and then fill up with fresh 99 octane fuel then go for a ride to get the old fuel out of the pipes.

  10. Have you checked that the crappy exhaust valve is cycling?

  11. Maybe a couple months, no more than that, took if for a blast this morning and filled it up with fresh fuel. That wouldn’t cause the EML on start up though?

  12. I’ve just checked that and it was sticking open, a liberal dousing of WD40 has freed it off and cycles open/closed ok now but still EML

  13. Try downloading the Ducatidiag stuff from JPdiag. You can clear faults yourself properly then..although you will need to buy a couple of leads :) There is a thread on here about it all

  14. Took my girl out for blast treated her to a tank top up of high octane, and by the way the abs light on, speedo and odometer not playing ball, i think my rear wheel abs/speed sensor has decided to shuffle off this mortal coil.
    Did enjoy the ride though.

  16. D2318B1F-3E19-4D3F-AFE6-6245E9764A95.jpeg Checked the pipe hadn’t come off, all looks ok so a faulty sensor?

  17. Try erasing them first and see they come back. You might be lucky!

  18. Nah still faulty and still got a strong smell of fuel from the exhaust so running rich I think. Managed to get to the sensor without having to remove much so ordered a replacement, should be here next week.

  19. Cheers for that, best £30 I spent. Hopefully new sensor next week and clear the fault should sort it. Then I’ll Investigate the other fault, although after resetting all the suspension to factory default it’s not come back so something to keep an eye on but easy to diagnose and fix myself now.
