1260 Module Fallen Out Of Placement

  1. Hi all
If i am not wrong this is the Bluetooth module in the photo....

After riding today, the module fell out of the left hand side black panel and caught into the left fork.!!.
Once i looked at it, it was fixed with double sided tape!! Not sure this is the right fixture for a bike like this!
After this happened i then noticed the warming light on the screen so i am assuming it was damaged when it come loose.

Has this happened to anyone else? thanks for the feedback

  2. Mine's velcro'd to the panel so sticky tape may be original fitting on your bike.

  3. There is another module that is attached with velcro too, but this is another one... not good that it just comes out after a ride..

  4. No good at all, mine's an Enduro so it's all wedged in on top of the fuel tank, can't go anywhere ...

  5. Likewise... just a few months old, so i am a bit surprised it has come loose

  6. Oh right ... don't realise it was new ... warranty job then. And some stronger tape!

  7. It is indeed the Bluetooth unit and on the dvt it is secured with a Velcro piece.
Even when they sort it out under warranty I would buy some quality Velcro M3 and ask them to refit with that.

  8. Doesn't seem resemble the bluetooth module at all

  9. That looks like a Biketrac unit? It’s not the Bluetooth moduel

  10. I think @nelly has hit the nail on the head. Definitely looks like the underside of a Bike Trac unit. Shoddy installation if it is. Andy

  11. yeah i think your both right.. i just see the BT module now, that is there still with velcro.. but this tracker unit, come off and could have been a bit of an issue if it got really caught up.
