The Actual Rules-riding Our Bikes?

It’s just before a national speed limit though so hardly “through our village” like it’s made out to be. Notice comments are turned off as I’m sure he expects some unfavourable words.

I tend to take care up to the 50 limit then "make progress"

 

Been out today for a 4 hour ride. Loved every minute, not a single Caravan anywhere, yay. Stopped in Ledbury for a chat and around 6 other bikes turned up, people then started giving us some looks. One woman said we weren’t allowed to go far or for very long, I politely set her straight on that one but it wasn’t any hassle! Loads of bikes out too. I didn’t see any acting like twats either

 

Forgot to say, I F’in love my Ducati!!!!!! I always thought quickshifters were a gimmick, they’re sooooi not

 

I agree but if I’ve just looked at the rear facing view and they were obviously carrying considerable speed past the junction prior to the overtake. All seems an unnecessary risk to me given the capability of the bikes and the National speed limit up ahead but everyone’s perception of danger is different I guess.

Well I got pulled today. 2 cop cars and a cop bike were waiting for the recovery truck to drag a R1 out a hedge and were using the time to pull motorcyclists and tell them it's not exercise so go home unless you are about to go for a walk somewhere in your full race leathers.

 

I cannot believe the lack of freedom over there.

I am glad most have been out for a ride as i have been while you were all staying home...
Sad that I didn't ride for a week... then the bike would not start. Learning a lot.

I was out on my bike yesterday, I saw one group of approx 30 bikes in a pub car park as others arrived to join them, those off their bikes close to each other, zero social distancing, and then a group of approx 7 on streefighters, you know the type, all wearing fleeces over their leathers, they were doing at least 70 in a 50 limit, skimming past cars as they overtook, is it any wonder that the general public think we’re undesirables?
I also saw quite a lot of bikers out on their own or in pairs riding sensibly, but they go unnoticed, it’s the twats that everyone remembers.
PS I went unnoticed
PPS someone above mentioned cops saying riding wasn’t excercise, as of Wednesday you don’t have to be travelling to excercise, it can be to meet up with one other, or sunbathe or anything you like provided you observe social distancing, let’s be clear on that.
