Here's a weird one I'm looking around for a new battery ...... Yuasa YB16AL-A2 and the price from Tayna has dropped 3 times in the past few days .... started at £58 plus post , then £53 this morning and just as I'm about to place an order , it's down again .... now £49.95 !! Their Ebay shop was showing 10 in stock earlier today , but now showing none .... still available via their website though . Note - The Yuasa is dearer than the Varta equivalent , but has higher CCA rating ( 200 A vs. 180 A ) .
Halfords have these listed (not sure if in store) at £58 https://www.halfords.com/motoring/m...-a2-powersport-motorcycle-battery-759872.html
even cheaper if you have the discount card that is available via the subscription here, Halford sell and stock the Most Yuasa batteries around
My shit heap of a car needed a new battery, I got the uprated one at £92, but because I had the halfords card @£15 as a subscriber, the battery came in at £47. the upgraded membership subscription has paid for itself many times over for me
I too have found Tayna a good alternative. My kit car uses a US battery and they were the cheapest by a long way compared to what US car parts suppliers were asking. Being a US battery it's not a common stock item for many battery dealers.
Yeah sorry chris, I wasn't sure if he was refereing to the amount of discount the halfords membership card gave or my shit heap of a car
No, the figures are common for that size of battery. If you can find one with a higher cold cranking amp rating, then it would be better. Andy
Check this type out at Halfords (this is for an 848/1098/1198 so physically too big for you), but they should do one in your size too.
