Bought this yesterday(MONDAY) pick it up friday or saturday. Full service history, just had a full service before lockdown(£1200) and a years MOT, just over 15000 miles on clock. It has a small ding in the tank that needs sorting(a good haggle point!). Sorry no bins unless you have an opinion on the mini!!
Yes, found this one on sunday, rang him up went to look at it yesterday and the deal was done and the best bit it's just 14 miles from me, result!!
It's been well pampered, just the small ding on the tank needs sorting!! I haven't even picked it up yet and that ding is bugging me
Depending on how much the ding bugs you, is it really worth it? Imagine paying out hundreds for a tank respray and dinging it again! Having said that, you've got me thinking of colour schemes - yeah, get the whole bike done in some mega scheme!
It's the OCD coming out but yes i know what you mean, it has been pampered the rest is just cosmetic, but i will get it sorted at some point, just have to keep the OCD in a box for now
Lovely bike Wayne - they just look so good even after all these years. I still have my green 998 Matrix, I advertised it for a while but thinking of using it now unless I can find it a good home before I pay out for the insurance! Mate, just a thought on your dent in the tank, a couple of years ago I had a dent in one of my 748's and I sent it to a guy called Andy at Pickering in Yorkshire who specialises in paintless dent removal. When it came back, I honestly could not even find where the dent had been. Absolutely brilliant job, cost about £120 plus postage, not sure if that's something you've considered but would highly recommend them Website is: www.motorcycledentremoval.co.uk And no I'm not on commission, only used them the once but very impressed Cheers
He does amazing works, he's in a village called Middleton - not sure if it was @ducati dad who had some work done recently there - I have a Busa tank waiting to go when I get round to it. He's better than Uri Geller
Sweet ride @WAYNE I bet you cant wait to pick it up.... Where is the ding? Maybe a dent man can get it out, or slap a gopro mount over it anything that takes your eye off it
No,i can't wait. The ding is on the top right hand side(It turned out to be a good haggle point)i'll post a pic when i get it!! I'll just have to ignore it for now and like you say cover it with something, maybe a snorkel from a land rover and i'll be ok if there is any flooding!!
