  1. But I thought you just sold a very large set of gates that you 'found':)

  2. That's just pin money and already spent.

  4. Believe me I've tried but the seller is a 'Wotsits' hungry man o_O

  5. FYI and @Expat Jack it reached £10,200 and is sold provisionally at that price it being a little under the sellers reserve. Assume the seller says ‘yes’ then it will cost the buyer £11,730 inc buyer’s premium + vat.

  7. I don't follow the prices, but that seems a good price for the seller! Makes your bike look a bargain. Maybe have a word with H&H...

  8. LOL:). I decided to take the wheels off the 25th Anniversario 916 Panigale DucatDoodlePug today (blimey, that’s a mouthful, will have to call it something else) because the massively powerful engine has ripped the tyres to shreds:D more like they’re 20 years old and need replacing coz they’re harder than a man who’s swallowed a whole bottle of Viagra. On inspecting the manual it may very well have a single sided swing arm but it still involves removing the exhaust so the rear wheel can be extracted. The exhaust is a one piece affair, which means the bolts holding it to the cylinder head have to be removed..... after 20 years I was dreading it :scream::scream::scream:.

Not to worry I thought, I’ve some tools that might assist, and there’s a thread in the Ducati Forum that might help me:upyeah:.

Fecking things came off easier than a whores drawers
not that I know about such things you understand, I’m just well read I was most disappointed:(

Never mind, I’ve an 800cc Yamaha 2 stroke triple which sank to the bottom of Schull harbour which I’m renovating over the winter:D that should provide some entertainment.

  17. It’s still here:). Following in @Old rider ‘s shadow, I’ll post a picture a day until it’s sold.

Just look at the quality of those parts. No flaky paint 20 year old engine parts here :upyeah::)

  20. I've been watching 748's for a while and so seeing this is of interest, however it may be a little salty for my wallet and wouldn't want to waste your time. 6 months ago I genuinely think the market for clean 748's was £5k
