Cheers Nigel. As current custodian, I have brought her back to new, ready for one of my girls to inherit.....Not sure which one is my favourite yet! Chris
I was finally able to ride today after a long long time.... felt so good!!! But also frightening a little, I forgot what this thing is like and was just holding on at some points. This road usually had a big bush hiding the view but they took it and it makes a nice view of Vesuvio.
Its no joke, especially in the summer heat! Also he is still alive, will go again one day. I hope I am on my bike because for sure I can outrun any explosions
I did in august time,as i always like to be away in europe in my birthday month.it was crazy heat & if i did it again i'd have to take a cold pack of stella's with me.
My new to me 749. Just had it for a few days but love it. Perfect for me that has just started to do some trackdays on bikes after I have quit racing with cars. Not to ”big/fast/scary” and seems to be well balanced.
Just getting her ready for the road just have too tax and MOT her and waiting for my LED front indicators and handlebar mirrors ,Its been in my house for 2 years busted my shoulder at work so could not ride but spent lots of money on her.
This is the bike of my technical colleague =) Ducati 848 with 1098 race fairings. He rode a 2:46:00 on Spa Francorchamps 2 weeks ago. He managed to fly by a lot of purpose built litre racebikes Pirelli Diablo Superbike SC1 on the front and rear. And an aftermarket quickshifter + homologated race muffles from Termi are his cocktail to make things happen Greetings from Belgium!
This forum is a treasure trove of gorgeousness. Cannot believe this is my first visit. I will have to fabricate a suitably mood enhancing shot of something I own.
